Applications are now open for the Prix à l'Innovation by Région de Nyon

Région de Nyon grants each year a prize of CHF 50'000 to one or several companies boosting local economy, in the field of life science, precision engineering, ICT, food industry, tourism, cleantech, tourism, international sport or manufacturing. Applications will be open until October 31.

Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund raises CHF 190 million and begins investing

The Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund, launched in February this year by the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation, has successfully concluded its first round of fundraising, in an amount totalling CHF 190 million. In consequence, the fund can from August start investing in Swiss start-ups and growth-stage innovative SMEs.

Le "Portrait et situation conjoncturelle de l’économie vaudoise" est mis à jour deux fois par an sur le site internet de Statistique Vaud. Pour juin 2019, l’ensemble des éléments présentés porte à croire que la croissance du PIB vaudois pourrait être révisée légèrement à la hausse, mais les incertitudes qui pourraient influencer négativement la conjoncture restent bien présentes.

A global Blockchain accelerator launches in Switzerland

"Blockchain propulsion" has launched a new global accelerator program financed by fees and equity stakes to support blockchain-based startups in raising funds, scaling and expanding globally. Selected projects will benefit from an end-to-end program and gain access to a global network. The accelerator has launched hubs in Switzerland, Brazil, China, UAE and India.

Prévisions 2019-2021 pour l'économie suisse

D'après les analyses de l'institut CREA, l'économie suisse devrait se replier nettement en 2019 avant d'accélérer, d'abord modestement en 2020 et plus fortement en 2021. Cette année, la conjoncture a commencé à être impactée par les mauvaises performances de l'économie européenne - cela à travers les exportations.
